MASSINGILL TAKES IT HOME TO VICTORY IN WEST VIRGINIA

Washington, West Virginia (August 10, 2024)………Bryce Massingill dominated the USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget series’ first ever visit to the Mountain State on Friday night at Washington, West Virginia’s Ohio Valley Speedway.

Massingill (Troy, Ohio) led all 25 laps from the pole position to score the victory in the non-points special event.

Chett Gehrke (Broken Arrow, Okla.) battled Alex Watson (Columbus, Ohio) for 20 consecutive laps during the feature with Gehrke taking over the runner-up spot with five laps remaining.

Jakeb Boxell (Zanesville, Ind.) made the Rosewood Machine & Tool Precision Move of the Race as he took third on the final lap from Watson.  Watson crossed the line in fourth while Josh Yenser (Hilliard, Ohio) rounded out the top-five.
