Indianapolis, Indiana (July 31, 2024)………Shane Cottle retains a healthy eight-point advantage in the USAC Indiana Sprint Week ProSource Passing Master standings heading into Thursday night’s round five of seven at the Terre Haute Action Track on August 1.

Cottle (Kansas, Ill.), the two-time and defending champion of the weeklong award, presently owns 37 points after passing 37 cars throughout the first four events of the annual seven-race summer series featuring the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship across the Hoosier state.

As the driver of the Epperson Racing No. 2E, Cottle stands atop the ISW Passing Master points ahead of Logan Seavey (29), Ricky Lewis (28), Anton Hernandez (27) and Chance Crum (26).

ProSource is rewarding the driver who advances the most total positions throughout NOS Energy Drink USAC Indiana Midget Week Presented By Honest Abe Roofing with a $500 bonus.  The Passing Master points encompass all heat races, C-mains, semi-feature and feature events.  Stevie Sussex (Tempe, Ariz.) was the champion in 2021 while Cottle captured the crown in both 2022 and 2023.

Three events remain on the 2024 Indiana Sprint Week calendar at the Terre Haute Action Track on Thursday, August 1; followed by Bloomington Speedway on Friday, August 2; and the finale at Tri-State Speedway on Saturday, August 3.
